Rosie Huntington

RosieQueen Latifah, was born Dana Elaine Owens, March 18, 1970, in Newark. Latifah was the second child born to Lance and Rita Owens. She is popular for her social involvement, acting skills, and her ability to rhyme. At the age of 8 old an Muslim friend named her Latifah, meaning "delicate and sensitive" in Arabic. Latifah sang in the choir of the Shiloh Baptist Church in Bloomfield, New Jersey. Her first public performance , singing "Home" as one of the two Dorothys in the production of The Wizard of Oz. Her mother was a key influencer for her involvement; she was constantly in touch with the students and the music. She invited Mark James, a local disc jockey who is known as D.J. Mark the 45 King was asked to sing at a school dance.
